To support cloud progress tracking and global leaderboards, the App collects the following information when you log in:

• Account Information: When you sign in using Google / Gmail Login, we collect your basic profile information, including your name, email address, and profile picture URL.
• Learning & Progress Data: Your Kanji practice history, quiz scores, level progress, streaks, and achievement metrics.
• Device & Technical Data: Basic device configuration metrics necessary to maintain session authentication and sync progress securely.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, contacts, precise location data, or audio/photo files.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information exclusively to:

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your logged-in session via Google Sign-In.
• Save and sync your Japanese learning progress across devices so you do not lose your study history.
• Display your public rank, display name, and avatar on the global Customer Leaderboard.
• Provide personalized practice recommendations and study analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Leaderboard & Progress Tracking

Public Visibility: By logging into the App and participating in the Leaderboard, your display name (or Google profile name), avatar/photo, and study points/scores will be visible to other registered learners on the Leaderboard ranking table.

Cloud Sync: Your study progress is securely stored on cloud servers to enable seamless progress restoration when switching devices or reinstalling the App.

4. Third-Party Services & Authentication

The App integrates with trusted third-party services:

• Google Play Services / Google Sign-In: Used for secure identity authentication. Google handles your login credentials directly according to the Google Privacy Policy.
• Cloud Database & APIs: We use secure cloud storage servers to host the Leaderboard scores and user progress data safely.

The App does not contain third-party ad networks or invasive tracking SDKs.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for learners of all ages. For users under applicable ages requiring consent, parents/guardians should oversee account creation. We handle all profile data strictly for educational progress tracking and public leaderboard scores.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Data Retention: We retain your account and progress data as long as your account remains active.

Account & Data Deletion: You have the right to delete your account and remove your profile from the public Leaderboard at any time. You can request complete deletion of your personal data and study history by contacting us at info@kandelg.com.np.

7. Data Security

We implement standard industry-level encryption protocols (HTTPS/SSL) during data transmission between the App and our servers. Your authentication credentials are protected directly via Google OAuth 2.0 security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request corrections to inaccurate profile details.
• Request complete deletion of your account, leaderboard entries, and cloud-synced progress.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect updates in our features or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised Effective Date.
